KLIA shooter flown back to Selangor


PETALING JAYA: The suspected gunman from the recent shooting in KLIA has been brought back to Selangor.

The suspect who was clad in purple lock-up attire was flown back in a police King Air B300 aircraft from Kota Baru, Kelantan where he was caught on Monday (Apr 15).

The flight arrived and taxied to the Police Air Wing Unit Base at around 2.05pm.

The suspect was escorted by police CID personnel clad in full tactical gear.

They were armed with submachine guns.

The suspect was bundled into a silver police Proton Persona by police and driven out of the base at around 2.20pm.

Four CID personnel entered the vehicle with him.

The suspect who was wearing a face mask was sweating and looked physically drained when he was bundled into the car.

Bukit Aman CID director Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain was seen entering a Proton X70 car moments later.

It was learnt that the suspect will be brought to the Selangor police headquarters for further action.
